About
Welcome to Quasinormal Notes!
I’m Subhodeep, a fledgling physicist, and this site serves as an open notebook for my explorations in physics, mathematics, and code.
Most of the content here revolves around theoretical physics—specifically classical and semiclassical gravity, with a strong focus on black holes.
Since actually doing this kind of physics requires a lot of tinkering with code, I also use this space to share my notes on numerical methods and programming. You’ll find tutorials for solving computational problems, guides for setting up software tools I use in my research, and links to websites, papers or articles I didn’t want to lose track of.
